This is a lesson plan made for teaching the poem "If" by Kipling using Simple Plan’s song – Perfect. It’s a lesson that students really enjoy and can relate it well.

another great song that I used to integrate with the lesson on “If” was a song entitled “Just The Two of Us” by Will Smith. The song has the same exact message like the one in “If”. It’s good to use this song because the language is more colloquial and students will be able to relate to it easily.
